When you visit one your favorite Etsy shops and they have hundreds of products, or maybe even thousands (btw, I want to know how are they able to create thousands of products?!!), have you ever found it overwhelming and difficult to find that perfect thing that you’re looking for? How can you easily sort through the many items in a shop to find what you want?
As a customer, I usually go through the shop’s Item Categories first. But sometimes a shop can have a lot of items per category with pages and pages to go through. In this case, I use the shop’s own search box. I’m not referring to the Etsy website’s search box, I’m talking about an Etsy shop’s own Search Item box.
If you already have a specific idea of what it is that you’re looking for when going through the printables and templates in my shop, try using my shop’s Search Items box.
In my shop’s Search Items box, you can quickly find your template using these helpful keywords …
1. The kind of template
– “Adobe” or “Adobe PDF” to list only the Adobe templates
– “Corjl” to list only the Corjl templates
2. The number of photos you need in your Adobe PDF newsletter
– “Newsletter 4 photos” will list Adobe PDF templates with 4 photos.
– “Newsletter photo” will list Adobe PDF templates that have at least one photo.
– “Newsletter text only” will list Adobe PDF newsletters that don’t have photo entries
(Corjl templates, by the way, let you add and delete photos, so the number of photos isn’t as essential).
3. More specific keywords, such as…
“Adobe Christmas newsletter”
“5×7 Christmas newsletter”
“Birthday Gift Certificate”
“Adobe Anniversary Gift Certificate”
“Two pages” – to search for all the newsletters with two pages
“Newsletter Kit”
“Sweet 16 Program”
Not all shops are the same though in terms of easily finding products. For my shop, I make an extra effort to place search words in my titles that I know will be helpful for you to easily sort through my shop and find that perfect printable or template.
